For Isaiah
Yahweh still does miracles
Seems crazy but it’s true
They’re not just left for bible times
He says we can see them too
He heals the unhealable
Saves those who can’t be saved
He’s hope in utter hopelessness
THIS is the God we praise
‘Have faith’, ‘Believe’, ‘Trust in Him’
These are so much more than words
They’re actions we must choose to take
And they spread God throughout this earth
He sees far more than we can see
Knows what we cannot know
He works outside this worldly place
Our limits are not His own
So don’t let dark and doubt and fear
Tell you that it can’t be
Choose to fight that lying voice
Hold strong, choose to believe
Hope feels risky, faith can be hard
But trust in the God you know
He hears you, loves you, walks with you
Wherever you may go
In a world that doesn’t understand
It may feel foolish to believe
But it’s the real fool who does not ask
God says “Call on Me and see”
So praise the Lord, pray in His name
There is power in our prayer
Holy Spirit open up our eyes
Let us see You everywhere!
Our awesome God still works today
He’s here within us now
The impossible is His domain
Declare this truth out loud!
It takes courage, for His power
Isn’t ours to understand
But hold onto God and trust that
Everything is in His hands
Through ups and downs, our joy and pain
God is working in our lives
We matter to the Lord of all
He knows what our hearts cry
So keep praying and expect to see
God doing what we can’t
Because Yahweh still does miracles
A truth I hold within my heart
“I’d rather appear foolish and ask God for a miracle,
than be a fool and not ask at all.”
